Excellent. A "must-read."

Finally--a book that doesn't sound so "religious" or self-righteous. I cannot relate to those authors who have made tons of money and then expect the rest of us "average Americans" to be able to drop everything we've got going on in our "real" lives and just become "enlightened" like they are. Phooey! It must be easy --REALLY EASY--to be able to write all day about the divine, travel everywhere, and then charge outrageous fees for thsoe ridiculous "spiritual retreats" that don't tell you a gosh darned thing -- except that they really let you know how much money you're out of, and how much you just gave up for the "master." Ha! THIS BOOK IS DIFFERENT! I loved it. LOVED IT! This author is real. I want to meet him. He speaks from what seems to be a much deeper, and much more realistic place than all the hip-and-famous spiritual "directors" out there who seem to be into nothing more but getting on TV, making money, and looking good for the media. BUT WAIT! Read this book. It's a VERY different (refreshing) approach to getting in touch with the divine inside...and out. It is so amazing. The author's voice rings true, not trite. He clears away all the confusion and makes some profound arguments. He talks directly to you no matter where you are on your path --like he's guiding you. I can't say enough good things about this book. Just read it. You'll have your eyes opened wide and your heart all filled up ...with LOVE and JOY. I urge people from all walks of life and all spiritual AND religious backgrounds to read this book. It has an important message for everyone. I loved it.

Very Inspiring Words From Exciting New Author

I agree with the statements presented to date, having recently read the book soon after it was published. The author presents not only soul searching messages that have been handed down through the ages, but presents all who read this tome the varied paths to realization and truth. These messages have been repeated by so many in so many ways, yet heard by so few. Author James asks the reader for just a small willingness to make that first step towards peace and endless joy. This is a book for all -- young and old, of all backgrounds, to enjoy for its ruminations and gentle proddings, calling us forward toward new perspectives and understandings. It has a message that is just right for our times as we all try to find our path in this world. Patricia Neal, the Academy Award Winning actress loved it and so did I.

This Book Tells It Like It Is!!!!

This book rules! I wanna meet this guy. He has some really great ideas that have made me rethink what I'm doing with my life. He makes you think. He talks right to YOU. At first I thought he was looking over my shoulder while I was reading. Kinda weird, because I never read a book that talked directly to ME about what I was going through. This book is awesome! It makes perfect sense to "get over myself" and get on with living in peace and focusing my "thoughts, feelings, and perceptions" on giving love to people rather than waiting for them to give it to me. I've had a bit of a slump in my relationships...love and friendship ones. But, hey--if this book can help a guy like me, think what it can do for everyone else! I hope more people read this. Good stuff.

I had had it and this book fixed it!

I had finally reached the end of my rope. Everything in my life seemed difficult, my relationships, my career. I kept wishing that something would just come easy.David's book helped me realize that the spiritual foundation that I had formed during my upbringing did not provide the support that I required to get through tough times. I continued to look externally for strength and direction when all the time I had the power within myself.Since reading this book I have started taking charge of my life and everything seems new, exciting and possible. I can't recommend this book enough. It speaks to everyone! Read it! Share it! Live it!
