World of Why

Nostalgia is a fascinating phenomenon. Recognizing certain objects, signals, or sounds is just enough to trigger what once was and what was contained within the circle of an old life. Visiting the affluent city of Weston, Florida, triggers my mind into a perpetual marathon of memories. Family, friendships, love, heartbreak, depression, confusion, mistakes, and betrayal were among the many emotions that coated my teenage body. Ever since I chose to write what I felt at sixteen, I needed to recall everything. I needed to understand the what and the why.
