family favorite

This had been our family's favorite dutch oven cookbook and then tragedy hit, something spilled while driving back from a camping trip and the book was ruined. We kept the book with the pages stuck together just so we could make sure we got the same book again. We had others but most of them seemed to be too basic and lacked the variety of dishes. I go with the philosophy of "the camper that eats the best...wins!" and this cookbook delivers. We have had a lot of fun with it over the years and look forward to replacing it. We learned dutch oven cooking on this cook book and it is just as good for the beginner as the expert. If you want to eat well on your next camping trip this is the book for you.

World Championship Dutch Oven Cooking

I have several Dutch Oven cookbooks and am happy to include this one in my collection. Although it is not as extensive as some, that is its only drawback. It has a well rounded variety of recipes for anyone who is just learning the art of dutch oven cooking or for those with years of experience. It is always a pleasure to learn new recipes for use either while camping, or even in my own backyard. Readers will find this book extremely helpful.
