Jediah is a 4-year old girl who takes an interest in helping her mother breastfeed her baby brother. After coming home from school one day, she notices how happy both mom and baby were, and becomes curious. After her mother explains how she makes/produces breast milk, Jediah decides that she wants to become her mother's special helper at Mommy's Milk Factory.

This story was designed to normalize and teach young children the importance of breastfeeding. It also offers a step-by-step illustration of how older children can become involved, and included in the breastfeeding process. It encourages bonding between a mother, older siblings, and younger siblings. Children can also gain an understanding that there are career opportunities for lactation professionals.
