Politzer grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, where she studied history and creative writing at UC Davis. She spent 10 years as associate editor of American History magazine. Her three sons, Steve, Dave, and Michael, who sadly died at age 18, are the love of her life.Geneva's a founding member of Unitarian Universalists of the Cumberland Valley (UUCV) where she served as worship associate and sang in the choir.Ms. Politzer has been writing poetry since she was age nine. Her subjects range from deep thought to ludicrous limerick to making peace with pain. Ultimately, she believes it's all about love.Geneva was diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA)/Parkinson's Disease the day after her youngest son died. However, it wasn't until 2017 that she picked up a pen and answered the challenge of a fellow poet and lifetime friend, to write a poem a day for 31 days. Numerous requests from Facebook friends who followed these daily posts led to 365 poems. The first volume is in your hand. Volume 2 is already in the works.Stand by...
