This book is a collection of free-verse poems that represent the culmination of emotions, ideas, and youthful insights into a peculiar generation. These poems have been written over the span of many years and collected together to offer a personal viewpoint into a world riddled with rapid change. The poems presented in this book have been organized through the lens of my maturity into categories which I feel are of much importance to a generation over come by indulgences of the self. The book is separated into the sections of fear, loss, hope, and love and each poem embodies my own struggles with expressing these feelings to others in a meaningful way. This collection of poems is meant to take the reader on journey through a blooming of emotions and experiences, beginning with acknowledging fear, then facing and learning from loss, moving into a realization for hope in this world once again, and finally ending with the pride and celebration of love. This collection includes a total of twenty poems (five in each section), as well as a short note from the author and a preliminary note in each section, each section is also accompanied by a personal quote of mine. Some of these poems are longer in length, some only take up a few lines, regardless they are all carefully crafted as a means of catharsis to the reader.
