It is from this book that the often-forwarded essay "Paradox of our Time" originated. You know the one -- it begins, that starts out "The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints." The essay is frequently attributed to George Carlin (of all people!) or to Jeff Dickson, but it is in fact Dr. Moorehead who penned this eloquent piece in 1990 and published it in this compilation a few years later.
