When Dad asked if there was a way to preserve a blog in printed form, I thought he was talking about his own. (Yes, we can do that, too.) But when I started reading back through Mom's blog and found not only her random thoughts, but also the beat of her big and generous heart, and a treasure trove of family memories, I knew I needed to put them in a shareable format. In keeping with the tradition of making everyone bawl at Christmas at least once, and in memory of how much Mom loved a good surprise, I hope these stories bring a few tears and many, many laughs.Oh, how I wish she had kept a blog for more than just these few years. What other pieces of family history (or more accurately revisionist family history) might she have recorded for us?Remembering Mom with a smile this time.
