Lisa Killeen has been creating art and poetry since her youth. Finally, her dream of bringing her work to life has been realized in her beautiful book, WordheART, the Poetry of Hugs.

The warmth and love poured into the insightful poems and beautifully crafted drawings in this book, make the reader feel as though they are indeed being wrapped in joyful, warm hugs. The work varies from poetry about love, loss, kindness, family, pets, and even her beloved hometown, Saint Petersburg, Florida where she lives and works as a Healthcare worker in the Hospital and Hospice.

Lisa's words of wisdom in her pithy quotes which are also peppered throughout the book, offer careful insight into how we think, and react and how we might be better, happier people. Her love of people, life, and the things big and small that matter most are lessons we can all learn from and enjoy.

A portion of proceeds from her book will go to one of her favorite causes, Rebekah's Angels, which was founded to provide mental health treatment to children and families suffering from trauma.
