Good book BUT...

Paid $14.19 for a book that was described in good condition AND its missing a chapter (chp 1). It should have been a $6 or $7 book. The first of several pages are loose and separating from the book and it appears to have gotten wet or been in a damp area because the pages are withered. The book should have been described as "acceptable"... disappointed about the high price but a good read.

Unhappily Not What I Expected

I was hoping to find that the "original definitions" of this book would open up the ideas of how to use words more carefully when we speak, as I believe that words have great power for good or bad. But what I found were word meanings that the author brought up as "hidden" meanings toward the dark side of life and conspiracy theories warning us of many devious plots "out to get us!." Not my cup of poison, but conspiracy lovers should enjoy this book!!
