This full-color book is written with tree lovers, nurserymen, and poetry devotees in mind. It is what it says it is: "Wonderland Trees." The author is a former nurseryman who always had been and still is profoundly enraptured by trees. The reader of these ensuing verses will not only get a feel for that, but he will be stimulated to pursue many of the references and allusions contained throughout the book. Enjoy the double and even triple entendres and other plays on words in the poetry, the titles, the inspirations, personage portrayals, and all the pictures. The underlying theme of each poem is the connection between trees and the author's occupations or preoccupations. My intention is for the reader to be himself inspired to write some verse, to marvel at the wonders of trees, to plant some trees, or to enjoy my juxtapositions. The accompanying pictures at the top of each poem introduce annotations of a different magnitude.
