Where There Is A Will There Is A Way

Written by Sam S.Ruffalo, Author of "From The Great Depression To Millionaire" Here's a wonderful woman who has survived two battles with cancer. During her survivorship years she has been intimately immersed in the lives of others with lifetime non-cancerous afflictions, but equally serious in surviving the effects of a difficult and hard life events. These are stories of extreme hardships with heavy roadblocks in the lives of women during their journey through life. They tell of their continuous desire and fortitude to survive while helping others. Her book is written in a most captivating and attention-holding style while encompassing your heart's emotions. There are tales of many joys along with tales of sorrow bound to bring tears to your eyes. Heather Resnick describes plans step by step for many different purposes that apply to women but would be equally valuable for men. Her stories tell trials through life as experienced by women and how they searched, fought, and overcame their most difficult times in life. She spells out how one can plan their actions and take action with their plans in an exceptionally helpful way.

If I had only known then...

Had I known this intuitive writer before the "great upheavel" of my life, I could have told her a story or two and given her "grist for the mill." However, I was the real loser. It is clear that the insights Ms. Resnick so adeptly shares would have helped me deal with my life transitions much more sanely. Even if you are not in mid-crisis, this book is good reading for all women. Understanding the problems we all share and how to deal with them are helps we always need. I highly recommend Ms. Resnick's enlightening book.

Wonderful resource

Heather has done a super job of telling women's stories of transition as well as supply the resources they need to become happily working and self-sufficient. Part job search manual, part motivational tool, all heart

Heather Resnick is a two-time cancer survivor, but that hasn't slowed her down or stopped her from reinventing herself more than once, most recently at the age of 51. And that's what Women Reworked is all about: figuring out who you are, what you want to do with your life, and then going for it - no matter your age or situation. As Resnick puts it, "I never want another woman to be in the dark about going back into the workplace or changing careers." To that end, the book does shed light on some of the fears and obstacles women - particularly Baby Boomers and those who are in transition - face as they pursue their dreams and goals. Resnick also offers lots of concrete advice to assist women who are in the midst of a career change. In fact, the first few chapters are devoted to useful ideas, exercises, and resources for anyone who is job hunting. This includes things to consider during the pre-employment stage, how to set goals and create an action plan, and a chapter on the art of networking.
