Amazing

If you really read this book you'll amazed if how much you'll learn. At least I did. I am glad I had the opportunity to read it because it change my way of thinking and made me growht as a person.

Women studies

I liked the book, but some of the book explained how women were in the 1950's. I think the truth was in the book about men, races, and class.

Good book full of interesting essays from all kinds of points of views on different issues.

Inspriring and impowering

Great textbook for any class in the sociology and women's studies area! Even if you're not using it for a class it is a great introduction to many areas/topics that people seem to ignore/be immune to.

Feminists buy this book

I originally read this book for a women studies class at SUNY New Paltz. Here I am two years later, unable to find my original buying it again. It is a helpful book for all women studies courses, and an excellent book for one's own life, using personal essays relating to women's issues.
