Offers great insight for intellectual & faithful feminists
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 27 years ago
I read this book on a recent individual retreat and I think it is an excellent book to bridge the gap between being an intellectual feminist in the world of academia and expressing my faith. I hope that I can convince others to read it so that they might better understand my struggles and my schizophrenia. This is a quick read with tangible ideas and concepts that incorporates many distinct ideologies. The weakness is that it does ignore some of the innate boundaries of both academia (class and race) and the Catholic Church (sexual orientation and race). But it is well-written and expresses many of my ideas in a much less antagonistic manner.
