A young man, living in the historic Scottish town of Stirling, discovers, in shocking circumstances, that he is the product of two bloodlines of legendary shapeshifting Wolf-Warriors - The Ulfhednar and The Faoladh. He is drawn into the machinations of the "Shadow-World" - a world that exists in parallel to the mundane world of ordinary folk - and that he had no idea existed. This was partially due to his unique heritage and partially due to his infatuation with a mysterious, alluring woman. Eric eventually comes to terms with his ferocious nature and embarks on two desperate missions to a strange and flawed mirror-world. This brings him into conflict with an assortment of mythical creatures. Becoming disillusioned by the consequences of this lifestyle, he tries to withdraw from the Shadow-World. After a few quiet years, he is inadvertently drawn back in again. This causes him to entertain thoughts of using his shapeshifting powers to become a superhero in this world - with only partial success and much spilled blood. Eric's story is filed with adventure and many, many violent encounters. Valhalla awaits.
