In Cobalo he is accepted into the College for Mages, not knowing that the enemy wizard has already learned of his presence on this world.After several attempts are made to kill him, Jolan starts taking actions of his own, some not in line with the policy of the free mages, which eventually results in his setting out with a group of friends to find the answers to his questions and a way to defeat his enemy.
