Wizards & Witches
By Johnathan P. Blackwell
And so begins the legend of the immortal Willoombane, Wizard of the Earth.
Bound by the ancient laws of the Craft, wise yet restrained, Willoombane commands dragons, elemental forces, and the feared demon Whisper-an entity capable of reducing castles to ash in a single pass. Yet even with such terrifying power at his call, he cannot move without consequence.
On an ancient Earth not quite our own, magic is real-and dangerously unbalanced.
For nearly a thousand years, this realm has been without a SORWIZ-a rare and nearly invincible fusion of wizard and sorcerer, powerful enough to stand against the darkest forces of the Craft. Without one, evil has grown bold. Sorcerers rise in the shadows of Thunder Valley. Demons stir across hidden realms. Kings wage ruthless wars of slaughter. And the fragile laws that govern magic begin to fracture.
When the secret council known as the Order of the Mask summons Willoombane to a concealed gathering, it becomes clear that the crisis threatens more than kingdoms-it threatens the balance of the world itself. A wizard's knowledge does not come by accident. A calculated plan begins to unfold.
And too, rumors spread of a child marked by strange and dangerous signs-a youngling whose power has already drawn fear, hatred, and whispers of prophecy. If found and guided, this child may restore balance. If claimed by darker forces, the consequences could be catastrophic.
Perhaps this is the next SORWIZ.
Then again... perhaps it is something far more dangerous.
Wizards & Witches is a sweeping epic fantasy of dragons and demon guardians, secret councils and elemental magic, ancient vows and rising darkness. Mythic in voice and rich in lore, it explores the cost of power, the burden of immortality, and the thin line between guardian and destroyer.
For in the world of the Craft, belief creates power-
and power reshapes destiny.
