Wizard gets a little Cross

Wizard loves to have fun and the story begins exploring all the ways he magically finds himself connecting with nature with elements of joy. One day our Wizard finds a little gold cross that has been hidden within his bedside book - a cross that used to belong to his beloved father, who he believes has left it there for him. Wizard reflects on the life and good deeds of his father and how he should like to do as he would do. The next day he goes into the town and works to help the people there. He discovers that 'the best magic of all is giving' and overall there are happy descriptions of him transforming from a life of just fun, to one of service.
