Wixom to Wixson: A Family History

This is the family history of the Robert Wixom family compiled by Justin H. Wixom, Ruth S. Widdison, and Albert B. Hanner. Robert Wixam was born May 29, 1623, in Oxfordshire, England, the son of William and Sarah Wixom. In 1630, Robert emigrated to Plymouth, Massachusetts in British Colonial America. He married in 1654 and settled in Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts. Robert died October 18, 1686, at the age of 63, and is buried in Eastham. Robert's descendants (chiefly spell the surname Wixom, Wixson, and Wickson) have lived in New England, New York, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Arizona, Utah, California, and Ontario, Canada.
