Lanner Group released the latest update to their WITNESS process simulation software, WITNESS HORIZON 25, in 2022. WITNESS HORIZON 25 includes many enahncements from prior releases. These improvements build upon Witness's strengths in modeling discrete even and flow processes. Some of these capabilities? Best in class capability to model multicycle machines, model machine breakdowns with multiple breakdown causes, each with independent frequencies of occurrence, and finally modeling internal and external setup activities. To facilitate digital twinning, Witness HORIZON can both receive data from external sources and supply data as an output. These interactions can be with Microsoft Excel and Access as well as through SQL.
