I sense that Mr. Conant is a man of integrity. His account honestly exposes his own contributions to the downfall of his marriage. I appreciate the sensitive way he refuses to overemphasize the faults of his former wife. It isn't difficult to "read between the lines" and sense that she was a troubled, needy individual. However, Mr. Conant obviously is more concerned with paying attention to what he has personally learned and the coping skills he has consequently developed than he is with laying blame. The insights he shares at the end of the book reflect a wisdom and maturity that is uncharacteristic for someone so young. An excellent read
