With Atlantis in sight

While involved in his research for the lost City of Atlantis, Mark Steel runs into an information of incoming global catastrophe. Seeing him as going senile his wife Olivia and sons Bryan and Patrick, are not taking it seriously until some of his his predictions come truth and a mayhem start ripping the world apart. Having his family collected in the "safe" place and himself convinced they are being chosen to survive he boards everyone on a boat he had ready there for this purpose, they are fleeing sinking now California, heading to unknown, for the Atlantis.
