Truly a stitching grimoire.

Oh my goodness gravy alive!!!! This book (in my opinion) is the BEST cross stitch book out there! It was just delivered and I sat down to just "quickly" glance through it... Oh no... This truly is a stitching grimoire!!! No quick glance... this is a grab a cup of tea, get cozy and learn kind of book. So detailed and written for EVERYONE! I've been stitching for over 40 years and truly believe every beginner, moderate or seasoned stitcher NEEDS this stitching grimoire in their library. The ghost tips and facts are so informative. There is not anything in this book that I don't want to stitch! I do have to say the Garden of Halloween patterns are my favorite and will go nicely with the little Samhain Garden Witch pattern. Miss Meg... You nailed it! Now if you will excuse me... I need to kit up the Garden Halloween and Samhain Garden Witch patterns and do some more reading 🥰

Quality binding and materials, Subject matter WOW!

As I sit and flip through the book I am more and more impressed every page. From detailed "how to's" on not just stitching but fabric type, dyeing, reading patterns, after effects, and all sorts of other great instructional details to patterns that are amazing, easy to read, and exciting to see and plan working on, I can't get over how well done this project is. Meg's heart and (dark) soul show in every part of it. I love it and look forward to working on the projects contained within!

So Informative!

I bought the book for the great patters but was pleasantly surprised at the depth of information on cross stitching. The how to section even tells you how to watercolor designs on your fabric! You can tell this was written by someone who loves cross stitch and sincerely wants to teach it. The section on how to care for and frame your finished pieces was also appreciated. Can't wait to start stitching!
