Witches of the Swamp

The Swamp wreathed of rotting vegetation with an eerie fog covering the water like a blanket. Sounds of wild creatures that nightmares are made of lurk in the slimy mush that floats on top of the water. Cypress Knees protrude out of the water presenting their stumps for Vulchers to roost on waiting for the next poor soul to die. Death comes quickly and often in the swamp as animals fall victim to the food chain.A rustle echoes through the swamp as snakes and other slithering creatures scurry to get out of the way. No animal wants to tangle with the screaming creature that rips through the swamp as if it was a mad rabid animal.The wind whistles through the trees into a whirlwind as a vision appears in front of the house.Suddenly there she stands stopping long enough to release a swamp rat before going in for lunch. It's the terror of the Southern Florida swamp, Bourine Harper. Barefooted, a sundress that looks like it has been drug through the mud and long tangled black hair. She stands about four feet tall and has a beauty unsurpassed but her un inhibitness covers it very well. Her dark hair shines in the sun and her cheeks are rosy.
