Wise Giant

Looming, imposing, magnificent, massive giant figures have stomped their way into the human imagination for thousands of years. Sometimes they are depicted as benevolent, wise, and helpful: aiding humans in times of war and struggle. In these myths the giants are known to teach valuable lessons, such as cultivation and agriculture. They are often associated with mysterious rock formations, megalithic structures, or mountains, and as such they are depicted as enjoying throwing rocks, stacking rocks, and sometimes are even responsible for earthquakes or other natural phenomena.
