Author Bio Soke (Grandmaster) Larry Barr is the founder and 10th Dan of Seido Ryu Karate. Seido Ryu means "Way of Life Style." He has been training for thirty-five years and has been a volunteer instructor for the past twenty-five years. He teaches out of the Bergen County Police Athletic League and is the vice president of the organization.
Soke Barr has brought up sixty-five students to black belt, and his students have won over ten thousand trophies in competition. His mission is to save lives through the power of karate-do.
