A devil worshipping cult known as the Infernal Elect, led by the formidable Joel Egion, has ties deep within the town of Hattiesburg, Mississippi with roots in the police department, town council, and school administrations. Those unaware have not the slightest clue of what goes on behind the busy college town fa ade. Carl Walker, a retired chief of police, spends his Christmas holiday as the Turtle Creek Mall Santa. Having no family of his own but a soft spot for children, he enjoys seeing the glitter of magic in their eyes when they come to see him. Things come to a halt when a teenage girl gives him a folded letter reading: Please help. Talk to Seth. He will tell you more. This bizarre plea for help sends Carl down a sinister path, making him a prime target of the Infernal Elect and dark forces he never believed existed. With the help of Seth and others, Carl must do what he soon learns is his sole purpose: to save Leslie from the clutches of the Infernal Elect and their insidious agenda.
