Winter Hemmings had been on the road for hours, and it was getting late. She couldn't believe it when the rental car began to slide out of control, ended up in a snow-filled ditch no matter what she tried.

Winter had run away to avoid an arranged marriage. Unheard of in the twenty-first century America. Now here she was walking to her cabin in the snow. Of course, she didn't plan for her rescuer to be a six-foot snowplow driver who was off the rails attractive.

His snowplow almost ran her over when he surprised her. Startled, she fell into a drift when he came into view. Jumping out of the cab, he ran to her, laughing, and grabbed her hand. But she was anything but thankful; even when he offered her a ride into town. He tried to smooth over his laughing, but she wasn't amused.

One thing leads to another as Sam gives Winter some unwanted but needed advice and Winter warms up to this unconventional man.
