Winning Without Losing Your Way

Named as one of the very best books of the year by CEO Refresher; "Winning without Losing your Way" by Rebecca Smith is taking the business world by storm. After the horrors of 9/11, Enron and MCI World, we saw that integrity and honesty was no longer valued. We had lost our way; trust was broken, careers destroyed and respect became a foreign word. First time author, Rebecca Barnett saw this desecration and decided to take action. The end result, is a "winning" book packed with wisdom, by the author and other business people as well. Rebecca Barnett wrote this book based on the principles found within Judo. She has a remarkable power of emotional writing, rarely found in a non- fiction book. She has the incredible gift of motivational speaking, through the written word. This book is targeted for business people; however, it has the ability to inspire anyone. Her concepts are capable of encouraging someone, in any walk of life. "Winning your Way, restores hope to those searching for the integrity that was lost. This book goes a long way in rebuilding the values, which were tossed aside by greed and power. By far, "Winning your Way" will leave the reader with a lasting impression.

Ms. Barnett has said what we are all probably thinking amidst today's quagmire of business scandals. 'Winning without Losing your Way' is a timely book and should be a must read for all CEOs and senior managers. Bringing values and focus back on all our character is a very viable and interesting solution for today's business leaders. It is time for a redefinition of many aspects of business leadership and operation and starting at the core with the values and focus of our leaders can only help. We as business leaders have lost our path and its time to bring back balance, integrity, loyalty and courage in how we contribute to the development of our enterprises and our communities.
