You must have this book

Another reviewer said this book is valuable to anyone having problem with sin. One of the points this book makes evident is, that includes every human being. The book is not just about the traditional temptations of sex, alcohol, etc, but also losing your temper, being self sufficient, etc...I really believe this book can speak to anyone if read thoughtfully. It is an essential primer to any Christian wanting to know what sin and temptation are, how they originated, what forms they take, why it is important to battle, and how to accept the victory of Jesus Christ.

Another Great One by Dr. Stanley!

Once again, Dr. Stanley has written another excellent text, this one focusing on temptation.Among the important points covered in the book include:1. Reasons to take sin seriously.2. God wants to develop our character.3. Ways people shift blame for giving in to temptation.4. God does not want us to live an anxiety-ridden life.5. God will provide an escape route from temptation.6. When faced with a situation, consider your past experiences, present state of mind, and future plans/goals/dreams.7. The devil is often subtle.8. Accountability is important in overcoming temptation.Read and be encouraged to be strong in the Lord!

Get real with God & your struggle with temptation

This book by Stanley is real and practical. He challenges the reader to exam himself and get real with God. He outlines the devil's ways of introducing temptation and gives practical methods of dealing with it. The book means a lot to me personally, and I can reccomend it for anyone who is struggling with God or recurrent temptations.
