P. during the Vietnam War era and 32 years as a police officer in Tampa, Florida.He and his wifehave survived cancer and a heart attack among many other illnesses. They have an adopted daughter and a son born with muscular dystrophy. Throughout life, God has sent "angels" in the form of teachers, coaches, pastors, and friends to encourage him and inspire nearly 5,000 poems and lyrics for 200 songs.
