An excellent example of its kind - focusses on helping the busy administrator to minimise the hassle of maintaining a LAN, while recognising that all administrators encounter different problems and therefore provides examplar solutions rather than wrote techniques. Chapter 4 (on maintenance & housekeeping) is of particular value. More, please.

Superb book for those who are frustrated with the GUI

This book has really helped me to streamline my workstation management. Its explanations of how to write Perl scripts for NT management teaches you loads about NT and the way it works.
