Condition was poor but listed/marketed as “Very Good Used Condition”

My son hasn’t read the book yet but we are reviewing our purchasing experience. There multiple rips on cover, flattened hard thick substance and writing/drawing on the inside cover continuing throughout the book. At the very most this should’ve been listed/priced as poor condition. We specifically wanted it in very good condition and were willing to pay up for it but that is not what we received.
