This textbook is very easy to read and includes a great deal of diagrams, pictures and illustrations to increase understanding. It explans technical terms thoroughly, and provides the scientific names of animals in the text.

It's a textbook! I have no basis for comparison or description of how good this book is. It reads Well, though...easy to read, that is. Interesting...meant to be read by an American- appeals to an American reader through examples and case studies, but could still be interesting and of course, useful to anyone studying North America and Europe.
