Wilderness Knits is wildly beautiful and inspiring

I am an experienced color work knitter. I love the original designs in this book, and the colorful choices of yarn combinations shown. The instructions are simple to follow, the charts are clear. I have already begun my first sweater, and have yarn for a second one as well. Many patterns have variations for bulky yarns and for finer yarn weights (US 10 and US 4 needles) It uses Norwegian yarns and Lopi yarns (available in the US). Her website sells kits of the Norwegian yarns for some of the sweaters. I made swatches to get gauge and am using yarns I have on hand (held double or triple) For dog lovers, there are many designs featuring paw prints. Caution: It is a book that assumes knitting knowledge. I am not sure a beginning knitter would find it adequate for making a first sweater.
