Love and the FBI

This is book 4 in a series based around the Dark Horse Dive Bar- which is ran by our FMC, Aria. I had a hard time reading the book strictly because my 7 year old daughter’s name is Arya (pronounced the same way). Other than the name issue- I loved the story. I enjoyed reading about how the relationship between Nick and Aria navigated all the speed bumps and issues thrown at them. I found it wildly irritating that while Aria wanted Nick to give her a decisive answer about their relationship, and wanted him to put her above his job. She seemed to forget, for a little while, that she went into things with her eyes wide open to the fact that Nick is an FBI agent, and that is his main priority. He never hid the fact from her. With all that being said-I felt all the feels with this book. I felt the angst, and the anger, and the sadness, and the HEAT. It is very well written, and I’m excited to read the other books in the series. It CAN be read as a standalone, but, if you’re like me, you’ll want to go back and read about the other characters in the series as well!
