Designed to inspire friends to gather 'round a table, break out the projects and create with abandon, Wild with a Glue Gun is a new kind of craft book. It offers an astonishing array of non-traditional craft projects, while showing craft clubs and other small groups how to foster an atmosphere of inventive companionship.Rather than relying on the voice of a single writer, Wild with a Glue Gun introduces many voices various members of several craft groups each addressing readers in a friendly, casual, yet distinct style. Each of these 100 projects are suitable for beginning and advanced crafters, and easily completed in a short amount of time. Readers will work with beads & baubles, fabric, paper & paint, photos, tile & glass and more.To further encourage group crafting, there are a number of projects to which all group members contribute.
Although I wouldn't want most of these items in my cellar, the IDEAS are quite innovative. I got lots of great ideas and basic directions to easily modify for wonderful gifts. I really liked it ... very warmly written and innovative
What a great resource!!!

It delivers just what it says it will. The projects are whimsical, have a wide ease and difficulty range, leave much to the imagination while inspiring your own creativity. I can't imagine what the previous reviewer expected to find and didn't. I've been very happy with the projects I have worked on so far and look forward to exploring more in the coming months.

If glueing, stamping, soldering, pasting, arranging, writing, trimming, sewing, spraying, painting, coloring, mixing, molding, bending, twisting, curling, looping, crimping and kneading weird stuff are the only things that heal your spirt and make you feel alive - you have to check this book out! The whole concept is about forming/joining a local craft group to inspire eachother. It's written so friendly, you'll feel like going to the authors front door and offering them a bowl of homemade Ambrosia Salad and then asking if you can join THEIR craft group. It features info on all kinds of crafts groups across the globe and offers guidelines for setting up your own crafty clique. But the best part is the totally funky and tripped out projects. My favorite is the Chocolate Box Valentine. It's a dimensional collage inside a heart-shaped candy box. I was more than honored to have been mentioned in this book, right along side glorious glue gun goddess Meg Reardon from the legendary NotMartha.com site. There's also info on the crafty & clever chicas as Crafty Gal, Another Girl At Play, Get Crafty and mucho, mucho mas....Great job Christine and Kitty - and muchas gracias!!
