The Wild Witch Compendium is not a guide to First Nations culture. As a white Australian folk witch, I do not speak on Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander practices. This book does not include or interpret Indigenous ceremony or spirituality in any form. It is written to help other white settlers walk more respectfully on unceded land by making informed, decolonised, and sustainable choices in their folk magic. Where culturally sensitive items are mentioned, it is only to say: they are not ours to use. A portion of profits is donated to SEED, a First Nations led organisation fighting for climate justice.

Wild Witch Compendium is written for the witch who walks with awareness, who listens to the eucalyptus trees, honours the stories carried in stone, and knows that magic is more than just tools and spells. It's a living, grounded practice of respect, responsibility, and connection.
