Book Overview

Panguitch was king of the wild mustangs. A magnificent stallion the color of a lion, except for his black mane and tail, he had been unsuccessfully sought for years by a number of horse hunters. Chane Weymer could hardly believe that the Paiute Chief, Toddy Nokin, had confided in him a white man that Panguitch and his herd were on Wild Horse Mesa in Utah. How could a herd of horses be on the insurmountable mesa?

Let 'Em Run Free

When two brothers fall in love with two sisters what else can you expect but trouble? Add to that a wild stallion one of the brothers has to own--even if it means the risk of losing his sweetheart--you have the ingredients for this Zane Grey romance set in Utah. Chane Weymer loves horses, and when Toddy Nokin, a Piute Indian tells him of Panquitch who is running free on Wild Horse Mesa, Chane decides that he has to have this magnificent wild horse. Although not as great of a novel as "Wildfire" is, this is still a good read from the master story-teller of the West.
