A wild ride whether you're a seasoned camper or a city kid!

Ron Gamer's third book in the Chance series introduces his two main characters, teens Travis and Seth, to Jessie, a city girl not interested in learning the ways of the woods. She has no choice when a storm forces Uncle Bob miles off course and onto an unknown lake. The squall flips the plane upside down before they can get all their gear out, and the foursome is faced not only with surviving the elements, but learning to care for each other as well. The situation goes from bad to worse when Bob becomes gravely ill, their food supply dwindles to pretty much fish or fish, and they determine the only chance of rescue is to brave the unknowns of a channel fraught with waterfalls and rapids that appears to intersect with a road. Another great wilderness adventure!

Wild Chance is a really fun "part two" in the trilogy about two best friends living near the Boundary Waters. Kids who love outdoor adventure books (such as Hatchet or Brian's Winter by Gary Paulsen) will enjoy following the survival tales by Ron Gamer. I truly enjoyed the books and anxiously await my pre-ordered "part three"! I have passed the first two books on to some of my students as well as adventure-loving adults...ENJOY!

Another Winner!

I have taught Ron Gamer's 2nd novel of this series to my English students for the past few years and I can tell that this newest title is another winner! Filled with rich characters and superfluous examples of poetic techniques, it's definitely a book that is hard to put down!

Adventure is the Survivor Again!

This is a great series for readers who love the outdoors. The romantic tension with Jessie was a fun new twist. It's also fun to learn interesting things about surviving in the outdoors. Thanks for writing inspiring, action-packed books that are just good clean fun!
