A supernatural thriller that "goes for the throat [and] doesn't let go . . . Among the best werewolf novels in recent memory" from the Bram Stoker Award-winning author (Rocky Mountain News). After... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Well, to be quite honest, I could NOT put this book down. I found it to be a very entertaining book and it was VERY well written. I used to own this book until it was stolen from me and I'm very sad that it was. Every time I read it, I see something I didn't see before! The story begins with Skinner Cade, away at college only to hear that his mother is dying in the hospital. He goes to see her and on her deathbed, it is revealed to him that he was adopted! Things begin to pick up from there as Skinner is thrown into a wild mix of constant action and werewolf society! This book is a real page turner and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed every page! I give this book a VERY DESERVING 5 stars! Kudos to Nancy A. Collins!
One of Nancy Collins' best

This book was wonderful and refreshing after running into countless boring werewolf stories. I really enjoyed this new take on werewolves. The characters are fascinating, the plot is fast-paced and enjoyable, and the writing is high quality. Some scenes may not be for the faint-of-stomach, but then again, such people should perhaps not read modern horror in the first place.
Too Wild!

I read Wild blood at a time when I was consuming a great amount of books. This one really stuck out. I am a big fan of horror, and this book does NOT disapoint. Anyone interested in Werewolf mythology has gotta give this a go. It's up there with Stephen Kings "Cycle of the Werewolf" and Robert McCammon's "Wolfs Hour" it's a sterdy read, that you'll find breezing through in no time, it is really hard to put down.

This book has everything a horror fiction reader absolutely loves. Death, Blood, Gore, Dismemberment. Anyone who hasn't read this book yet, is definately missing out. I have read this book over and over again, and I am still enchanted by the story line and the characters. This book is definately a must read.
Way Cool!

I absolutely loved this book! It doesn't base everything to the old legends on vargr and it goes deeper into how they live and act. The only problem I have with Collins, is that her books are very hard to find in my area. I live in the triple cities of New York. I currently own three of her books and that's all that I can find. But I enjoy them greatly and have read each seven times. And everytime, the story is better.
