Widget and the Space Invader

By Susan Peltier and Catherine Grantham

A quiet evening in the backyard takes an out-of-this-world turn when a spaceship lands-and a group of friendly aliens steps out

Before long, Widget and Aunt Beep have a houseful of unexpected guests. Widget tries his best to be a good host, even when the aliens take over his room, make a spectacular mess in the kitchen, borrow his clothes, and discover the television.

Sharing his home isn't always easy, especially when his visitors don't understand the same rules he does. But with a little patience, communication, and understanding, Widget discovers that someone who seems very different can become a wonderful friend.

Filled with colorful illustrations, silly surprises, and lovable robot characters, Widget and the Space Invaders is a playful story about friendship, sharing, boundaries, and welcoming the unexpected.
