Finding his first love at a high school dance, surviving the embarrassment of spilling punch on her, they survive as a couple until she dumped him a week before high school graduation. He never recovered. His parents died the summer before starting Stanford University. At Stanford he lost his second love when the ex-boyfriend murdered her in a jealous rage.In his frustration, he pursues relationships through email to women in Russia, a strip club, an escort service, and other places online. Will one of them satisfy his loneliness?His disappointment with women masked to everyone around him, but deep down he beats himself up, continuing the spiral of negative relationships. Reflecting at the end of his life, he decides that starting several successful businesses countered his awkward nature with women.
