From this, the reader may safely assume that this is not a beginner's book-however, the Introduction does carry readers all the way through the introductory philosophical and symbolic material of the I Ching, so the inspired beginner might feel equipped to track unfamiliar terrain. Those familiar with the I Ching may benefit from the Introduction as well, since my terminology and perspective may differ from the received version to which they are accustomed.
