This book is absolutely for LDS youth. There is an assumption when you open this book you are young, hip, LDS, and that you understand the basics of this religion. Having said that, this is a great resource for LDS youth. The book is full of pictures, drawings, and colorful fonts of different sizes and types. The look of this book is very appealing to young people. This book covers alot of the many things that Mormonism covers and puts the Why spin on it. For example, it discusses having a year supply of food and it gives you several reasons for having a year supply of food. Some of them are simply 'because the church tells us to' type of reasons. Some of the reasons are practical based on past history. Some of the reasons list facts, information from other places, and some of the reasons they give are based on plain common sense. If you teach the young women or young men at church or if you have a young child you are raising to LDS standards, this is a great resource.

THIS BOOK IS SOOOO AMAZING, I CANT GET ENOUGH, ALL MY FAMILY HAS BORROWED IT FROM ME, IT SO SIMPLE TO READ AND ISE AND HELP YOUTH UNDERSTAND. I RECOMMEND IT COMPLETELY, THE AUTHORS ARE GREAT AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! IF IT COST $50 I WOULD BUY IT (AND WHEN IT COMES TO BOOKS I GET IT AT THE LIBRARY FIRST..BUT NOT THIS ONE)

I use this book with my younger children as part of our home-school curriculum. It is written in a very approachable way with plenty of humor amidst the serious topics. The points are easy to understand. There are a lot of pictures and great examples that reinforce what is being taught and keep it simple and interesting. (My 6 year old scientist loves the 10 yr. age progression photos of a person on meth., and letting go of the kite string makes a great object lesson.) I love it!
Awesome for teens and older!!!!

With its unique layout and great graphics, this book catches the interest of readers and doesn't let it go. It is not just for teens. Parents and leaders will find valuable analogies and object lessons for teaching moments. The authors include enough humor and personal experiences that the book doesn't get preachy. I leave it in my bathroom and often find it open on different pages. A must for every LDS home.
