Another masterpiece from a Washington legend

Mike Deaver has written another must-read for anyone interested in the philosophical underpinnings of the Reagan (and Republican) revolutions. His insights demonstrate once again why Republicans control the current political agenda, and are likely to for years to come. Democrats should also buy this book to more fully understand why the power of conservative ideas has begun to appeal to more of their traditional core voter groups (women, Hispanic voters, Catholics).

One for the history books

After reading Michael Deaver's book, I was overcome by an urge to climb Mount Rushmore and start etching the face of the Great Communicator, Ronald Reagan. Is there such a landmark for insightful and inspirational authors? If so, Deaver has secured his spot.

Powerful political and philosophical perspective

The editor, Michael Deaver, has written a number of my favorite political books. Deaver is well respected and widely regarded by both opinion leaders and conservatives: 1) As THE authority on all things Reagan and 2)As THE pioneer for political image gurus. Now (a year after President Reagan's passing and with the '04 election in the rearview mirror) is the perfect time to discuss Reagan's legacy and it's huge impact on the future of conservatism and American politics. Republicans longing for another hero or just their conservative pony in '08 will really get a lot out of this book.
