Why Doesn't Somebody Do Something? is a book of missions-related stories that we experienced in the Central American country of Guatemala. The last three chapters are messages given to challenge us to answer the call of God. There are reasons why we sit back and never enter the harvest field. We need to be challenged to give ourselves to the work of God. It is the intent of this book to present that challenge to us. Why Doesn't Somebody Do Something? is a question that I asked myself one day, as I was sitting looking out our apartment window and seeing needy people pass back. I asked that question, and God responded with another question, "Why don't you do something?" I knew that question had in it a call and a mission that God was giving my wife and me. Our response to it brought changes to many lives. We hope this book will encourage someone to do something for God. Don't sit back just looking at the harvest field! Enter In!
