Peter grew up in a liberal Catholic family, mainly attended non Catholic Christian schools but has been involved in different Christian Denominations. A great nephew of a Methodist Missionary in China, he has worked in Africa (International Relief) for an Evangelical NGO, Has been a Street Pastor, prolific charity fundraiser, a leader of Alpha Courses, a prayer group facilitator, part of the Charismatic Renewal and a regular attender on Catholic pilgrimages and conferences of all kinds. He has a special understanding of the difference between various Christian Traditions with a study of different religions and the argument for atheism. Having attended most Churches from the Salvation Army to Quakers he can draw a clear comparison between Bible based and Sacramental traditions and therefore he can put the Catholic case from a truly ecumenical standpoint.
