A very funny book

Trinidad Sanchez is one of the Midwest's Chicano voices. This collection is one of the most famous in Chicano Literature of the 1990s. There are several funny love poems and poems dealing with identity and urban violence. "Sure smells good" bring giggles to all those I read it to. The title poem has that surprise ending that brings smiles to women and men alike. My dream is to see Sanchez perform these poems live. I can't wait until his next collection.
