Tremendous insight. More companies should read this.

This book really tells it like it is. I have worked for companies as I'm sure many have, that have had the egos of the senior management just toally out of control. It's more about power than developing a spirit. If more companies would really look at the Spirited Economics of this and let everything trickle down to employees, productivity & morale would increase so much. What a great movement to have within a corporation. I can imagine hearing Dr. Gluckman speak would be inspiration in itself. And hearing this directly from her would be wonderful. I love the comment "If you can spot it, you've got it". Makes me really think. Go Spirit!

Quick read with insightful content

My company is very dynamic and fast growing. Your book helped me gain an incredible amount of clarity as to why some of our departments are thriving and other are having problems. The "ahah" moment that I had whilst reading your book was personifieid by the well written practical and real-life fromat of your writing. The insights gained will serve me well. I can see why it has been a powerful tool for change in organizations.

Very helpful in building both leadership traits and personal awareness

I purchased this book to brush up on my leadership skills and was pleasantly surprised by how much it raised my awareness on how to remove my ego in my personal dealings as well. Dr. Gluckman's concept is very enlightening. By spirit, she is not talking about religion, but about being your authentic self. According to her, if you put your ego aside and are true to your core - your spirit - you are able to say and do bold things (characteristic of great leaders) because you truly believe in them. This motivated me to focus on leading with spirit professionally as well as at home with my husband and children.
